Skype is a free application, available for both Mac and PC. It allows you to video chat and make free calls to other Skype users. A computer and Internet connection are required to use Skype, but the system requirements may differ based on your operating system and the version of Skype you have. This fun and practical tool is perfect for staying in touch with friends and family or making business calls and conferences. You can even install a Skype application on your Android, iPhone, iPod touch or iPad for truly mobile communication.
If you're signed into your Skype account and notice one of the people in your contact list is also signed in, you can communicate with them, free of charge, in one of three ways: chat, voice call or video call.
We will be using Skype primarily for video conferencing to perform guided fittings or hold design consultations in real time. It is very simple to use and it will only to take a few moments to create your account and get started. Please note, if you are using Skype from a laptop or desktop computer, you will need a web camera, microphone and speakers -- either internal or external.
Once you have downloaded the software and created your account, importing personal and professional contacts is very simple. To find contacts using your email address book, select, "Contacts" from the top menu, then select, "Import Contacts." To find people by name or email address, select "Contacts" from the top menu, then select, "Search for People on Skype."
Our Skype username is Carolyn.Berry50. Be sure to add us to your contact list today. To schedule a video conference, please call us at 330-364-8503.
We look forward to Skyping with you soon!
